Saint Louis Bride Cover Shoot at the Fabulous Fox
If you have ever set foot into the Fox Theater you know how it has the ability to transport you back to a bygone era. The soaring architecture and elaborate details make the Fabulous Fox one of the most stunning photo backdrops in the city, so you can imagine our excitement to be asked to create floral designs to be used in this amazing space for the most recent issue of Saint Louis Bride!
We were thrilled to be invited to work with an amazing team of vendors to help bring this shoot to life. To go along with the stunning backdrop of the Fox and the beautiful bridal gowns, we created vintage-inspired bouquets and wearable floral designs in a white and cream palette. The bouquets are almost regal, from the draping crescent creation to the tighter Duchess Rose, each can be viewed a floral sculpture. Our goal in creating these designs was to harken back to classic floral design, but with a modern twist. Trends are cyclical, and while current brides are tending more towards organic designs, we are seeing more and more requests for cascading bouquets; these are simply an editorial take on that style.
It was so much fun for our team to design each of these pieces… I even got to come out of the office to create the floral wrap, and was so excited to see it in print! Thank to you Saint Louis Bride for inviting us to take part in this shoot, and to the fabulous vendor team that brought it to life!
