A Dreamy Spring Wedding at the Four Seasons St. Louis
If you’re a spring bride-to-be looking for inspiration, today’s feature wedding is for you! From the breathtaking rooftop ceremony to the romantic ballroom reception, every aspect of Kristen & Logan’s day was a dream. The couple chose The Four Seasons St. Louis for their ceremony and reception, and worked with Simcha’s Events to plan every thoughtful detail. The day was filled with pretty pastel blooms, the weather was absolutely perfect (a rare occurrence in St. Louis!) and you can just feel the love radiating from these high school sweethearts in every beautiful photo from Catherine Rhodes Photography.
Nothing says spring bridal bouquet quite like peonies, and we hit the flower jackpot with these fluffy blooms! Kristen’s bridesmaids carried bouquets of cream and pink to compliment their floor-length blush gowns and provide subtle contrast to her neutral bouquet. Not to be outdone, Logan and the guys looked dapper in black tuxedos accented with classic boutonnieres.
For their ceremony Kristen & Logan chose The Four Seasons terrace, which has one of the most stunning views in St. Louis, but also happens to be one of those most stressful ceremony spots for florists. Anytime we have a ceremony on this 8th floor location we spend the week before stressing over heat, wind and the possibility of rain (the joys of the Midwest!) Thankfully, we got the most gorgeous day ever and the ceremony setup was stunning! I am not exaggerating when I say I gasped and jumped around in my desk chair when I got to this next photo…

As mentioned above, Kristen & Logan are high school sweethearts! To make their wedding day even more special, Logan’s dad served as their officiant (I just love it when family members officiate!) Check out the wedding video from Captured In Frames at the end of the post… both of their dads shared the sweetest stories from their twelve year love story during the ceremony and speeches!
Married!!!
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour our team quickly moved the flowers downstairs to the ballroom. To hide the orange tones of the room Exclusive Events draped the entire space in white, creating a soft, romantic atmosphere. For the guest tables, we did a mix of round and long tables featuring lush floral arrangements and lots of candlelight at varying heights. The head table was also aglow with candles, and tall floral pieces mimicked the ceremony structure which we moved downstairs to frame the bride and groom. I love how light, airy and dreamy the ballroom felt!
