Floral Ceremony Structures
2021 was the year of ceremony structures here at Belli Fiori! We created a whopping 27 structures over the course of the year, including everything from traditional draped chuppahs with floral accents to over-the-top arches covered in flowers. If our clients could dream it, our team designed it (oftentimes onsite the day of the wedding!) We did a Ceremony Structure post back in early 2020, but we’ve added several options and created lots of beautiful designs since then, so I thought it would be fun to do an update and showcase some of the designs we worked on over the past year to inspire future couples!
Let’s kick things off with Kristen & Logan’s gorgeous spring wedding on the Four Seasons terrace! It doesn’t get more iconic than this ceremony location, and if the view wasn’t beautiful enough, we added this lush floral structure to frame the couple as they said their vows.

We had to wait almost two years to create Chris & Krissy’s gorgeous floral arch at the World’s Fair Pavilion, but it was worth the delay! Sandra and the design team created this lush archway onsite the day of the wedding, and it turned out event prettier than I imagined it would. The perfect backdrop for this garden-inspired day!

This jaw-dropping ceremony backdrop was created for our Modern Cinderella Styled Shoot at the Coronado. After a year of cancelled events and micro weddings, Lisa and Sandra poured their creative energy into this stunning asymmetrical ceremony design!

For Ellie & Jared’s summer wedding at Westwood Country Club, we used our newest chuppah, and draped the structure in ethereal greenery and white flowers. The thin legs of the structure allow for a light and airy look that perfectly fit the design of the day.

Chelsea & Justin were one of our first weddings of the year, and the first couple to use our new moongate! The team designed this gorgeous backdrop onsite at the Missouri Athletic Club, and then moved it behind the sweetheart table after the ceremony. The blush and white flowers were all the more fitting when the couple found out they were expecting a baby girl during the reception!

Another beautiful Four Seasons wedding! Lauren & Charlie said their vows under this romantic chuppah draped in organic floral and greenery. We work at the Four Seasons often, and I love the way our team creates a unique design for each of our couples so no two terrace ceremonies look alike!

Does it get more dramatic than a ceremony at The Fabulous Fox?! Allyson & Matt said “I Do” under a romantic draped chuppah adorned with suspended orchids that seemed to float in thin air. The tricky thing about this location was stairs; we were limited to a structure with adjustable legs so that the front could sit on a lower step. But Lisa’s design came together beautifully and the result was magical!

Suzanne & Marty said their vows in front of our moongate in a picturesque setting at Sunset Country Club. Sandra’s design complimented both the outdoor setting and Suzanne’s romantic taste, using roses, greenery and larkspur to create a dramatic backdrop for the ceremony.

Cierra & Chandler were married in the beautiful Missouri Athletic Club ballroom in front of an ethereal floral arbor. We draped the structure in fabric to soften the look, and pink and cream floral paired with organic vines created a romantic fairytale effect. I love the garden feel juxtaposed with the formal ballroom!

Last, but certainly not least, I couldn’t write this post without including Tierny & Alex’s stunning ombré ceremony! (We don’t have professional photos yet so please excuse my iPhone pictures). This structure was custom-built and designed on site on one of the hottest days of the summer, but we LOVE the way it turned out, and had so much fun with this bold color palette!
